Job description
  • Build rapport with KOLs and engage them on various forums
  • Be the owner of Scientific information and activities in the respective regions
  • Stakeholder management both internally and externally
  • Conduct scientific sessions like CMEs/ RTMs/ advisory boards etc. Active participation in scientific programs through lectures/presentations to propagate scientific communication to target audience.
  • Conducting CMEs/doctor group meetings at regional level in all therapy areas including paediatric nutrition and medical nutrition – close collaboration with regional sales teams to identify needs as per company priorities
  • Field work with regional sales teams to build rapport with KOLs.
  • Responsible for identifying and segmenting KOLs in various therapeutic areas in terms of speciality, experience and academic interest in the respective regions
  • To work towards establishing the concept of role of nutrition in overall growth and development
  • Guide and develop team members for effective delivery.
  • Continuously update medical/ product knowledge of field force and training of recruit in the region in coordination with the training team.
  • Roles and responsibilities may change as per the requirement of the company as defined by division head.
Requirements

Customer Relationship Management through Scientific inputs and Medical Queries

  • Provide scientific inputs and, timely and value added responses to medical queries from medical profession, patient groups & consumer groups, government authorities and field force.

Responsible for medical information services (MIS). Responsibilities include supporting sales force in providing information to physicians related to latest developments in medical research, current recommendations on Standard of Care across therapeutic areas

Medical training of field force

Continuously update medical/ product knowledge of field force and new recruit training in the region in coordination with the training team by devising and utilizing innovative methods of medical training. Work very closely with the Training Manager to devise innovative methods of trainings/refreshers.

Milk Code Compliance

  • Provide oversight and guidance regarding response to medical, consumer and internal requests for information regarding Milk Code matters
  • Provide coaching and guidance to sales teams for compliance to milk code

Regular training of teams on milk code compliance

Investigator Initiated and Post-Marketing Surveillance studies/Market Data from key stakeholders

  • To roll out Post marketing / Non interventional studies in collaboration with the Medical Director/medical affairs teams to reinforce the safety and efficacy benefits of the marketed products/new products. Taking charge & driving the entire project by selecting sites & investigators, preparing protocol & CRF, & follow-up with the Investigators, preparing the study report & getting it published in a journal of repute.
  • Sharing competitive/scientific intelligence from region to medical director/medical affairs team to ensure timely objection handling/ scientific support to sales marketing teams to handle competitor objections.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as directed by your supervisor.
  • Continuously update medical/ product knowledge of field force and training of recruit in the region in coordination with the training team.
