Job description

The incumbent is responsible for Piping Design and Modelling of all plants and timely delivery of designs as per project schedule.

  • Responsible for checking Plant design & Modelling using 3D software
  • Checking Piping isometric drawings, piping layout drawings, structural drawings etc.
  • Guiding team members in Pipe stress analysis
  • Preparation of equipment and plant lay out
  • Getting drawing approvals from consultants/Client
Requirements

Graduate in Mechanical Engineering with more than 5-10 years of experience in the field of piping design & engineering

  • Good knowledge about various software used for piping design and plant modelling like PDMS, AUTOCAD, CAESAR II, NAVISWORKS and other 3D software.
  • Should be well conversant with various National & International codes and standards like ASME, ANSI, API etc.
  • Should be well conversant with critical engineering calculations like pipe stress analysis.
  • Knowledge in Cryo piping design ,steam piping , water piping design
  • Under ground piping design for Oxygen , water , piping -special requirements
  • Support design - inside cold box (low temp supports)
